What is Your Scout (Guiding) Planet: Your Inner Guidance Principle!

Do You Have a Guiding or Lucky Star?

Most of us have heard of the concept of a Guiding Star! I strongly suspect that this “saying” referred to the Scout Planet, or Guiding Planet, after all ancient Hellenistic (Greek) tradition saw the plants as “moving stars”. When you examine your scout planet, you will find it give important clues on how you can find and navigate towards your destiny!

The guiding planet is easy to find! It’s the planet in your chart immediately clockwise before the sun! Once determining what planet plays this role in your chart you will find that the house placement shows!

Joan Of Arch’s Scout Planet was Saturn Retrograde! (very interesting)! With her Sun 25 Capricorn, it’s also her ruler, and a “bucket handle planet! If your just learning astrology, please pardon all all the terms.. suffice to say the important of her Scout Planet is HIGHLY AMPLIFIED by these conditions! Saturn retrograde is known as a real “loner”, or at least it would seem! They often pull away from the conventional world, or even rebel against it! They definitely march to the beat of their own drummer!

Isaac Asimov was an American author and professor of biochemistry at Boston University, best known for his works of science fiction and for his popular science! Considered one of the “Big Three” science fiction writers during his lifetime, his scout planet is Uranus in it’s ruling sign of Aquarius (strengths it). The classical interpretation of this wold be “a penetrating, intuitive insight into the scientific… “independent, intellectual minds! Asimov was a long-time member and Vice President of Mensa International – giving further testament to the role of Uranus as his scout planet!

In both of these example the planets involved are also supported by other astrological factors! Joan of Arch’s Retrograde Saturn showing that she was tuned to her inner voice, to the point that she was executed for heresy and later sainted by the Roman Catholic Church!
